Synopsis
Achilles’ is an exploration of human nature and the transcending of it. The separation of reality and myth, the subtleties of vulnerability that can be hidden by superhuman strength.
An ongoing discovery that is researched and tested by the physical endurance of the performers throughout. The studies of Brenè Brown, American sociologist and author, were the inspiration and starting point of the choreographic process. To the question: “How do I become courageous?”, Brenè Brown replies, “Be vulnerable. Staying vulnerable is a risk we have to take if we want to experience connection.”
To be invincible or to be authentic? Where does the real source of strength lie?
